Session Description:
 Stress. Concern. Nervousness. Worry. Anxiousness. Parents, teachers, and students seem to be dealing with such difficulties at increasing rates. But what is Anxiety? What can parents and schools do to help children and youth manage stress and be more resilient? To explore these issues Portland Public Schools’ Parent University is excited to screen the documentary Angst: Raising Awareness Around Anxiety. Following the documentary, a panel of school and community experts will lead an interactive discussion on this critical and timely topic to help parents develop effective tools for dealing with stress, worry, and anxiety.
